We bought a property for our elderly Mum in Wanstead through Churchill’s last year. For various reasons the process took almost a year to go through and the experience was horrendous for everyone involved. Every issue under the sun came up and it was almost like it was never going to happen. Week after week we kept hitting hurdles and our Mum was going out of her mind with the stress of it all. We recently bought our house through Churchill Estates, and feel we owe Andy and his team a lot. The difference between Andy and the different agency selling my home in the North West was huge. Andy was always contactable, despite being busy. He was always completely on-top of any situation and is just a genuinely calm and easy person to get along with. Things did become complicated with my sale, my agents in the North West were drastic and didn't help much at all. Miscommunicating often, and delaying things. In a huge contrast Andy was always on hand to help and even helped mop up my North West agents mess. Truly above and beyond. Working with Andy honestly felt like we were working as a team, as I'm sure everyone that works with him does. As an Estate Agent he's 100% on top of his game, and just seems genuinely natural in his work. If all Estate Agents worked like Churchills then buying and selling houses in the UK would be a much smoother experience. Churchill's did a great job getting our flat ready to re-let after being redecorated. We are very particular about tenants, but they kept us up to date throughout with great communication and help in finding the right tenants. There was a small issue when the tenants moved in and this was resolved very quickly as well.

The sale of my house took longer than expected due to various issues with buyers after a sale had been agreed. During the process Alison and Phil were open and honest about the situation and continued to work with with me to get the best deal possible. I’ve used Churchill estates Walthamstow to rent my apartment I’ve been dealt with George the letting manager personally the experience couldn’t have been smoother quicker and easier always replied to my emails and phone calls immediately made the whole procedure a lot more pleasant than it would normally be. On collection day George was waiting for me in the apartment to sign the necessary paperwork alongside with his professionalism he also brought me a starter package for the new apartment alongside with a gift card. After moving in even tho the agency doesn’t manage the property I’m in he still is very helpful trying to help me find the things I need. Great staff effort brilliant service highly recommended

My sister and I were selling our father’s apartment and chose Churchill based partly on their very competitive rates, but mostly because they seemed the most focused and professional from the outset. Our sale was complicated by the need for a leasehold extension mid-sale and other unexpected factors, but the team in the Buckhurst Hill office were great throughout. She was a source of sage advice and support throughout the whole process, and saved us from ourselves negotiation wise on more than one occasion! Excellent support at a difficult time
My sister died suddenly in February 2020. I needed to put her house on the market and immediately thought of Gary at Churchills who had sold the house of another sister. This new house was out of his area but he took it on. Settling my sister's estate has taken 14 months. Due to the unbelievable delay waiting for Probate the first sale fell through. Gary immediately set up the second sale which was successful. Throughout that time Gary and his team in Walthamstow (thank you, gentlemen!) have been on hand, easy to contact and kept us up to date with developments. They have dealt readily with solicitors where necessary. Gary has gone out of his way to accommodate our various requests which arose since we live an hour or more away from my sister's house, so for instance, he has interrupted his journey to the office on more that one occasion to check on the property. Before my experience with Churchill Estates I have long held a negative view of Estate agents in general but Churchill are truly extraordinary. They genuinely care about both their buyers and sellers interest. We had a very long and stressful experience buying this property through no fault of Churchill but Tom helped us every step of the way sometimes above and beyond his duty. He would often chase our solicitors and the vendor's to keep the transaction together and moving. We really appreciated his efforts and attentiveness. We honestly felt more support from Tom than our solicitor who is contractually obligated to represent our best interest. Tom was there from start to completion and he isn't the only good egg. Daniel also helped us out on several occasions which just goes to show that support, attentiveness and care runs through the office. They are a truly wonderful bunch. In the not so distant future we would definitely use their services again to either sell or purchase another property and we would definitely recommend them to everyone we know.

I can’t recommend Jamie and his team highly enough. From the very beginning they were all totally on the ball and very responsive, as well as being a delightful group of people. Jamie knows the Buckhurst Hill market very well and the house was marketed at a realistic price. As a result it sold very quickly at a difficult time ( Brexit!). I live quite a distance away ( it was my mothers house), and if I needed the house to be checked, meters read etc nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I would definitely recommend Churchills Buckhurst Hill to anyone thinking of selling their property.
